Villa Grock
Villa Grock, located in Imperia Oneglia was the villa of Adrien Charles Wettach in art "Grock", famous Swiss circus clown. He came to Imperia by chance, visiting his in-laws on vacation in 1920, and was so impressed that he bought a house with land, initially intended for holidays. This is where the villa was built that still dominates the hill of Oneglia and which became the permanent residence of the clown until 1959. It was in that year that Grock died, here where the house and the garden are proud to testify to the signs of their eclectic owner, still strongly transmitting the melancholic, famous smile. Currently the villa is home to an immersive and magical journey dedicated to the professionals of the circus and in particular to the art of clowns.
