Museo DAPHNÉ of Fashion and Perfume

The DAPHNÉ Museum of Fashion and Perfume overlooks Via Matteotti in the centre of Sanremo. Its headquarters are in a 13th century building, now in its rooms there are  unique collections of ancient and contemporary clothes, coordinated with accessories and perfume bottles of various eras. The heritage consists of about two thousand objects, of which the rarest are of the eighteenth century. Among the most curious, we mention an embroidered parasol belonging to Queen Margherita, an evening dress and a red cape worn by Grace Kelly, who was a frequent visitor, a golden dress made exclusively for the singer Nilla Pizzi, on the occasion of the Song of Sanremo.
